Almond Tree Center is a local ministry space in Maneadero, Mexico, being built by local churches and ministry leaders. It is a place envisioned for people to learn, share a table, encounter Scripture, and discover new hope. JBU serves as a bridge to what God has already begun, connecting QT and Scripture resources with the people and resources this ministry needs.
Almond Tree Center opened its doors in August 2026 with a vision of “A Place of Hope, Training, and Discipleship.” After the founding worship service, local churches and ministry leaders began praying together and preparing practical ministry in this small space. We look forward to women preparing for new beginnings through vocational skills, young people building relationships around a shared table, and neighbors encountering God deeply through QT and Scripture, growing as a community shaped by love. A second hair and beauty training course is being prepared following the first course in 2023.
JBU’s role is simple: to walk alongside. More than a great rescue, a new ministry sometimes needs one person to hold a hand, share the burden, and keep walking together.

Beginning with hair and beauty skills, the center is preparing practical vocational training so that women, especially those facing difficult circumstances, can protect their dignity and move toward standing on their own.
We hope this center will become a familiar place where nearby students can come comfortably, cook cup noodles with friends, and share conversation. We are preparing it to be a place where meetings that begin at a small table grow into relationships, where young people naturally share QT and Scripture, meet Jesus, and grow in life and faith.
Through QT and Scripture, neighbors can encounter God more deeply and grow together as a community shaped by love.
