Faithful Presence at MacArthur Park

Mission at MacArthur Park
Mission at MacArthur Park

Each year we still prepare meals for 50–70 people a day, three days a week, sharing food and the gospel with thousands who are unhoused each year.

Ministry among the unhoused can feel like a long, weary struggle. When we face a reality that does not easily change, even amid countless times of worship and service, helplessness sometimes finds its way into our hearts.

But we cannot give up, so today, together with fellow workers who remain for the hungry in the most vulnerable places, we share a bowl of food and a word of the gospel.

We hope for a life that is filled not by bread alone, but by Jesus.

And we pray that even in the very last moments of a life, one might call on His name, taking another slow but unceasing step today.
