Seeing the Possibility of QT for the Next Generation

The 2024 youth QT conference held in Paraguay meant more than simply demonstrating that a conference can be held around QT.

Watching the youth of South America—the next generation—meditate on the Word together and gather around the Word to move toward God, one sentence stayed clearly in my heart.

“QT builds the next generation!”

The QT I dream of is one that bridges the invisible gaps between people in an immigrant society where diverse cultures, languages, and generations live together.

The bridge that connects those gaps is the Word of the Lord.

Together we experience how joyful and delightful it is to meditate on the Word, and that Word comes alive within us, connecting people of different cultures, ethnicities, and generations as they move together toward God.

QT that connects people through the Word, connects generations, and builds up the next generation.

That is the path we dream of through Shalom QT.
